Solterbeck named two-time winner of IMA’s Circle of Excellence Award for Employee Incentive Program

Solterbeck has taken home the Incentive Marketing Association’s (IMA) award for Employee Incentive Program for the second year in a row.

Pacesetters 2016 was developed by Solterbeck for Optus, Australia’s second largest telecommunications company. Optus was looking for a way to inspire more employees to reach key targets, while reinforcing Optus’ core values and rewarding employees in a meaningful way.

Combining a client-centric approach with its deep industry knowledge, Solterbeck worked with Optus to produce a program that was anchored by strong corporate social responsibility. As a result, engagement in the program increased substantially, with over double the number of employees qualifying for the program (as compared to a previously-run Pacesetters program).

Out of the nearly 400 participants who travelled to Vietnam, almost 90% of participants rated their experience as either 4 or 5 stars. The program also successfully forged and strengthened emotional bonds between participants, the experience, and the Optus brand.

“It was such an unforgettable and absolutely rewarding experience,” said one participant.

“It made me think about being a better human.”

The 2017 Circle of Excellence Winners were announced during the Annual IMA Summit in Orlando, Florida. Held annually, the awards program identifies and recognises outstanding examples of incentive programs, honouring both the company and the incentive marketing partner for the development and delivery of programs that motivate employees and wins customers.
